Tata Trusts’ Khan Academy India Program
Tata Trusts partnered with Khan Academy for a five-year collaboration to offer free, world-class education in Indian languages aligned with Indian curricula. EQFI conducted an Ed-tech survey to assess the project's impact across Delhi, Punjab, and Karnataka, surveying 3,000 students in 12 schools, including school leaders, teachers, and active online learners.
Hybrid Learning Program: Vodafone-Pratham Education Foundation
The Hybrid-Learning Program (H-Learning), implemented by Pratham Education Foundation, aimed to enhance learning for grades 5-8 students in 400 villages across Uttar Pradesh, Maharashtra, and Rajasthan. EQFI assessed student interaction with digital content, community and parental support, and teacher perceptions. The study covered 2,567 students across 39 villages, with surveys conducted among 136 students, 136 parents, 28 community members, 68 teachers, and 31 field resource team members.
Learning and Application Program: Aga Khan Rural Support Programme (India)
AKRSP (I), active in over 2,400 villages across Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh, and Bihar, partners with Shell Energy India for the Learning Application Programme (LEAP) in 40 schools across Surendranagar District, Gujarat. EQFI conducted a mid-term evaluation to assess the success of LEAP's interventions in the targeted locations.
Teachers TryScience: IBM
Teachers TryScience is a free platform offering lessons, teaching strategies, and resources to engage students in STEM. EQFI collected historical data on the TTS program for 2014-17, working with partners including Learning Links Foundation, SRF Foundation, Chrysalis, and VikramA Sarabhai Community Science Centre.
